About the Mechanics
Owner Dan Reid has been turning wrenches for almost 40 years. He started Avalanche Truck Services in 2022. After a few months, he moved the business from a one bay shop to a 10,000 SF facility with four lifts. As of 2024 we moved to an even bigger shop in Castleton, VT to accommodate more repair work and 24/7 roadside services.

Dan enjoys diagnostics and troubleshooting, and likes getting to the root of a problem - and fixing it right.
​
He's joined by Devin, who has 8+ years of experience with truck and automotive repair, and his son Kaden, who has a background in small engine repair.
​
This hardworking team has the skills and know-how to tackle any project - from oil changes to engine overhauls.
